RECOUNT TEXT

A recount text is a type of story that tells about past events or personal experiences in the order they happened. The purpose is to share information and details about an event or experience. This text is written in the past tense and follows the sequence of events.

Example:

Anna : Hey, we’re meeting at the café at 3, aren’t we?
Ben    : Yes, that’s right! You know where it is, don’t you?
Anna : Yes, I’ve been there before. It’s near the library, isn’t it?
Ben    :Exactly! Do you bring your notes?
Anna : Of course. You said needed some help with math yesterday, didn’t you?
Ben    :Yes, see you later then!
Anna : See you!
